The Brief
Our longstanding client IWG property group needed a design and build partner to work with them in creating a new workplace as part of their Spaces brand within the Regus offering.
Due to the closure of a local site, there was an accelerated timeline to this project. The brief was to bring the new location up to the high standards set out in the global guidance for the Spaces brand. This had to be achieved on time and within budget. Striping out the existing fit out and completing a premium CAT B refurbishment of the space.
what we did
Working closely with IWG’s appointed professional teams we devised an ambitious scheme to maximise the budget and fit within the time constraints.
After stripping out the existing, dated fixtures we built a new kitchen, breakout area with space for recharging and refueling. We updated the meeting rooms with feature lighting and new furniture as well as crafting collaboration areas throughout the open plan office.
In the main open plan and reception areas we gave an injection of colour through the soft furnishings and added some plants for biophilic effect. In the courtyard we introduced premium, all-weather seating along with ambient feature lighting to brighten in space.
the results
Working alongside the talented team at IWG is always a pleasure. This workplace was delivered within the 6-week time frame and was built to the highest standards. This allowed occupants to seamlessly move into their new space without disruption to their working patterns.
