60 Seconds With Movolytics

A 60 Second interview with Movolytics, Slough Berkshire:

Blue Jelly loved working with Movolytics, based in Slough, Berkshire, to design and build a unique office place.  A year on, we wanted to hear how the employees felt about their new office. Here’s what Kate Doyle had to say:


1)      What were the key requirements of the project?

“It was important for us to keep the sales area separate from the rest of the office and as there are beautiful views, we wanted to keep the office open plan but at the same time create separate meeting rooms and breakout areas.

In addition, we wanted our branding to be clear, visible and vibrant throughout the office, driving through our corporate values and company culture”.


2)      What were the main challenges?

“We weren’t sure how we were going to be able to keep the view but create separate meeting rooms and breakout areas”.


3)      What was the most fun part of the project?

“We loved working with Blue Jelly and the concepts and designs really were fabulous. My favourite moment came after we had originally given the brief to Blue Jelly, having had accepted the design challenge and they presented their ideas, it was wonderful to see our design ideas come to life in the visuals they had created”.


4)      What is your favourite outcome, aspect or area of the office?

“I love the sales area.  It has turned out exactly as we wanted, with lots of company branding and concepts on the walls and separate individual soundproofed areas for the sales team to offer customers on-line demonstrations of our products”.


5)      Which areas have your employees embraced most?

“When we were working on the design with Blue Jelly, we wanted to create the ‘wow’ factor.  The reception area, which has been cleverly designed so that it is welcoming but also has visibility of the views, which actually reach as far as Windsor Castle have been maintained, which we all think has given us the ‘wow’ factor we were looking for”.
