Blue Jelly were delighted to have delivered a fabulous new workplace for investment specialists, Downing LLP, a valued client for a number years. This latest move saw their business make a significant move from Westminster to 17,000sqft of elevated riverside location in the City Of London.
What were the key requirements for the project?
Value for money and moving away from the traditional office layout. We had plenty of time to spend ensuring we created a good effect in terms of space planning, design and tendering.
What were your main challenges?
The main challenges were having the technical features translated into lamens terms.
What was the most fun part of the project?
Seeing the smile on people’s faces when they entered the office on the first day.
What is your favourite outcome, aspect or area?
The Green Room, which is a beautifully designed room with stunning views over the city of London. I am very glad we used them as common areas rather than office space.
Which areas have your employees embraced most?
Again, the green room, which is frequently used by employees for collaboration; for meetings, lunches, phone calls, Friday drinks, games, speeches. Also for entertaining clients.
