Paul’s 350km Cycle Challenge
Our founding Director Paul Horne spent his Bank holiday weekend cycling 350km around some of the toughest and prettiest terrain in the UK.
The King Alfred Way challenge organised by Glorious Gravel combines historic routes of the North and South Downs, passing through the Salisbury Plain, the Devil’s Punch Bowl, and Stonehenge. Paul is a serious cycler and considers a 100km ride a way to unwind and relax, but this put him through his paces. Cycling 8 hours per day, was a true endurance ride, however great weather and camaraderie made it an enjoyable experience.
Even now 5 days after he finished his 3-day marathon ride he’s still aching, but he’s now searching for his next challenge!
