Investec phase 1 is complete!

Investec Reading workplace Phase 1 is complete!

We recently revealed the 1st phase of our 20-week project for our valued client Investec, a global bank and wealth management organisation. Having worked with them since 2009 on a range of different sized projects we feel this one is particularly special. One of the very first projects Blue Jelly worked on was for a subsidiary of Investec, and now under the Investec name, the company remains in the same building at Campus Reading. To go back and completely refurbish this workplace has been an absolute pleasure as we love working with the Investec team.

The project is a refurb in occupation (RIO), so to limit the disruption to their business we are running the project over 2 phases. Phase 1 is now complete and fully functional for their everyday work.

Needless to say everyone at Investec is over the moon with the transformation, their people were making comments such as ‘I can’t believe it’s the same office’ and ‘the visuals were good, but seeing it in real life is better than we could have ever anticipated ’ during the reveal.

James Collins, Head of Finance from Investec said ‘Thank you, everyone, for your help on the completion of phase 1 of the office upgrade. It will have such a lasting impact on the teams based in the Reading office and all the new joiners in the future.’

While Shuhel Ahmed Associate Director at Avison Young commented ‘The space looks great and is a real positive change to what was there before!’
