In the summer of 2014 we were invited to meet with some of the Senior team at Firmenich’s UK headquarters in the outskirts of West London.
The brand, reaching 100 years of trading, was moving forward in its field of flavours and fragrance development. The problem was that their offices simply did not reflect their dynamic direction and core ideals. A six-month process of brief development and re-evaluation commenced, which led to a viable design solution nearing sign off in late 2014.
Following a tendered procurement evaluation, driven by the Companies HQ in Geneva, Blue Jelly were selected to conclude the design and then implement the Future workplace model for Firmenich. This model would then be used as a benchmark for the ‘Smart-space’ worldwide office role out.
As a working office the project has been carried out in 2 phases to create Swing space to maintain business operation. Phase 1 has recently been completed and the Sales teams are first to benefit from the vision. With a second and final completion in February 2016 we look forward to sharing some more information on this project in the New Year.
